Jake went fishing with Jim and caught a fish!
Summertime fruit is the best!
Like most days, on the Fourth of July before 8am my kids have eaten breakfast and are outside playing.
We took out a pine tree in the back.
That pine tree fell the wrong way and took out another tree. oops!
Our little fireworks for the kids! Last year I accidentally got the loud whistling ones so Nicole was just sure one of them was going to bust our eardrums! The kids clapped and shouted for each of the fireworks even though it wasn't dark at all. It's so much fun to share these moments with the kids.
A few people wanted pics of what our house looks like now that we've moved in. We don't have pics on the walls mostly and haven't really done "decorating" and I'm not sure if I ever will get to it. So here we are right now. This is the fam room.
Kitchen.
Piano room. I also got a 6 locker kids storage wood thing for the kids and us to use for backpacks, school shoes and stuff since the front closet can't hold all of their stuff.
Front room library.
Front walkway.
Playroom
The boys earned these pirate toys for the tub and they take a really long bath every morning. It helps me get a little extra time each morning and staves off breakfast until 7am.
The boys wanted to show their break dancing skills. Very entertaining!
We moved toys into Katy's room while we had company and the kids made a pretty awesome setup before it was totally tornadoed by their play.
The four oldest at a year.
Back porch. This continues to be a favorite spot no matter the weather it always is relaxing- especially to have a wooded view.
We are so blessed to have a backyard for the kids.
Katy sleeping during swim practice.
Jim found Diana after naptime having the time of her life.
Nicole found a geode in our backyard!
City of Apex parade on July Fourth. We saw a ton of our friends which made it even more fun. They also had bounce house toys set up and booths with activities. The kids loved the spiderman bounce house and the scout booth where they made their own cars and raced against other kids.
The bike parade went down the main street here and ended up where a big fire truck sprayed water on everyone. I took Katy into the car for that part, but when the kids got back giggling and soaking wet they assured me it was AMAZING :)
Me and D
D at the swim pad playing with a sippy cup and sandal. Endless entertainment in the smallest of things.
