Working to get all of the dings off the wall in the playroom. There is no shortage of work to do there.
My jungle escape room final challenge has them all frozen in place with Jim holding the final envelope.
The kids have really enjoyed solving puzzles and using logic to solve for codes.
I got the kids a ninja slackline and put it up by myself which took forever but I felt very accomplished haha
We did my 80s escape room with Marian and her older girls and my friend Robin. She brought some bright makeup to help give the 80s look and John didn't want to be left out. We heard when Jim finally saw John... "What did they do to you?!"
This big pile of dirt and stump had been there for 5 months. It was a momentous occasion to see it gone at last!!
John broke his bed. He is always unscrewing parts of it at night and we put it back together. But it got taken apart one time too many? Jim was able to fix it "permanently" So we'll have to break it to get it out of the room. But at least John can't mess it up...for now.
The older kids and Jim went snowboarding and I stayed home with the littles (didn't want John in a random daycare) So we had a party at home and this was a top request by Katy.
The only thing funner than going snowboarding is seeing the kids enjoy it. I love to see them develop this skill and confidence, and they never tire of it.
This time they met up with some of the boys friends and hung out some with them.
Jim and Jake on the Tobacco trail.
I love Diana's goals. Some favs "Breathe in breathe out when mad. Mining my own business" :)
Jim does a great job having the energy to serve at church, keep work going on call weekends, and being there for important moments like scripture study.
John rode the zipline while it was wet and muddy and got freckles!
For New Years Eve, Marian bought snowballs that were a soft and light material and at the stroke of 12 (more like 8:30 haha) everyone had a snowball fight. So fun!
