The kids have commandeered my camera a lot! Here's Nicole showing you her computer game.
And happiness!
We watched Ratatouille and they figured out how to make napkins fit on their heads like chef hats. Mike took a pic of it.
He also loves taking pictures of Diana. She is a happy, loving cuddlebug.
Jake turned 4! He wanted a chocolate cake but couldn't decide among a cake that looked like a truck, "Toothless" from How to Train Your Dragon, a dinosaur, or a lizard. So I made an amorphous cake that kind of fits several of the categories and let him interpret it as he wanted. Of course all he cared about was consuming it when it came time to celebrate.
Diana talks a LOT and plays with little animals and cars just like her brothers.
Mike's selfie with his chef hat.
The kids somehow managed to break the slide loose of the swingset in the backyard, and they've done it enough that we gave up and decided to let them play inside with the slide portion after Jim scrubbed it clean. They LOVE it!
Mike watching TV with his preschool class mascot, Curious George. He was so happy to be line leader again!
Jim took the boys to the YMCA to play racquetball and he said they boys had a great time, although they were a big hazardous to stand near and they loved making loud echoing sounds in the court.
We had the delight of my parents and Caleb visiting us this last week, our last big hurrah before they go on a mission for three years to the Philippines. We kept Nicole home from school a few days and did some fun stuff and just enjoyed being together. We went to Marbles and the kids were in heaven.
I didn't get many pictures, being pregnant kind of whittles life down to the basics, but we had a wonderful time! We're also under contract to buy a house!!! Everything looks good, we have the house inspection next week and crazily enough the closing date is- at the seller's request- on my birthday! I'm impressed with Jim's ability to really get a girl the right kind of present for her bday :-) This will be a week after baby #5 joins us!We are so blessed and look forward to the adventures coming soon!!
